Brief
Webhaptic Intelligence was hired by the client to conduct a public opinion survey which was aimed at eliciting requisite information about the impact of extractive industry activities on the well-being of Nigerians living very close to where these activities are being carried out.
Approach
The necessary information was gathered from the target audience using Computer Assisted Personal Interviewing (CAPI) approach. A total of 1,000 respondents were interviewed across nine (9) states in Nigeria, where extractive or mining activities are prevalent. The selected states were Lagos, Bayelsa, Delta, Kogi, Osun, Abuja, Rivers, Zamfara, and Cross Rivers.
Impact
Webhaptic Intelligence was able to provide the client with comprehensive data on the impact of extractive industry activities on the well-being of Nigerians.
