The client wanted us to use our expertise to gather requisite information across the agricultural value chain which will inform the design of the intervention
Our Approach
We had a desk review generating insights on the status of access to finance by women-led/owned enterprises in Nigeria; 32 Focus Group Discussions (FGDs) among male and female smallholder farmers, processors, entrepreneurs, and consumers; Stakeholders mapping of a comprehensive list of stakeholders and potential partners for the client to work within the execution of the program; 40 Key Informants Interviews and a virtual stakeholders Workshop.
Our Output
A theory of change stating the challenges faced by women in Agriculture, the suggested activities to curb these challenges, the outputs expected from the activity and the expected immediate and ultimate outcome.
